ICUS programs and initiatives

Among projects ICUS is pursuing as it builds sponsorship are:

• Conference on urban security. Public officials and professionals will address key aspects of urban security from a wide range of cultural, political, and philosophical standpoints
• Award for excellence. To recognize the best urban security projects, an international jury will make awards for Excellence in Urban Security
• Fellowships and research grants. ICUS will extend stipends for studies and research in urban security to mid-career professionals and security officials
• Web logs and news releases. ICUS will maintain up-to-date information on developments, projects, initiatives, and events related to urban security
• Reviews of research, essays, conferences, and articles. ICUS will highlight innovative work in the field of urban security
